David Samuelson is an accomplished executive coach and business advisor with a distinguished career spanning several decades and industries. He leads David Samuelson Coaching and Consulting, focusing on the next generation of executive leaders. Certified by the Hudson Institute of Coaching, David is dedicated to helping leaders stay on course, set higher goals, and maintain perspective.
David served as CEO of ISACA from April 2019 to January 2023, driving technology-driven innovation and business performance for its 170,000 members. Before ISACA, he was CEO of GreaterGood.com, leading initiatives that contributed over $50 million to charitable causes through everyday online actions.
As the founder of Pinpoint Learning LLC, David specialized in brand, market, and product strategy in the global education market. At Age of Learning, Inc., he expanded ABCmouse into schools across the US and internationally, generating over $1 million in new revenue in 18 months.
David's leadership at Capstone Publishers saw him grow an $80 million business line and increase digital revenues by 30% year-over-year. At Achieve3000, he rebuilt the marketing team as the company's first Chief Marketing Officer, enhancing its digital presence and brand strategy.
During his 12-year tenure at Pearson plc, David held multiple senior roles, including EVP and Director of Games and Augmented Reality, President of Global Schools, and Chief Marketing Officer. His initiatives in digital strategy, brand consolidation, and market development significantly contributed to Pearson's global presence and product innovation.
Earlier in his career, David was Vice President and Executive Producer at Living Books/Broderbund, and MECC, where he managed the development of iconic educational titles like The Oregon Trail. He also served as VP and COO, Acting President at Surefind Corporation, a pioneering search engine startup.
David's diverse background includes roles as a television producer, theatre actor, director, and teacher. He founded Vision Productions and produced an Emmy award-winning kids' show for KING-TV in Seattle. He also worked with the internationally recognized Minneapolis Children’s Theatre Company and School.
David's global expertise in operations, product management, marketing, and executive leadership across technology, education, and media sectors makes him a sought-after coach and advisor.
